The Club was formed in 1928. A book is available on the club's first 70 years.
The Club has approximately 80 members of all ages and standards. It is affiliated with Croquet New South Wales.

Coaching
Introductory coaching is available to anyone who has attended a
Come and Try event, held on the first Sunday of each month (February - May, August - November).
Application forms for the lessons are available at the Come 'n Try days.
We have a 6 lesson coaching course, with 2-hour lessons.
The cost is $50 per person (students $25; family of 2 adults + 2 children $100).
These lessons cover the basics of the game, but it is impossible in just 12 hours to pick up the intricacies of croquet.
Learners are encouraged to practice between lessons, and where possible there should be at least 1-2 lessons per week.
After completion of the introductory lessons learners are encouraged to join the Club where
further advanced coaching is available.
For further details on coaching lessons conduct the club.
Membership
We are always pleased to welcome new members to the Club.
If you are new to the game you can firstly learn about croquet through our 6 Introductory Lessons, and then join the Club.
If you are coming to Canberra as a player from elsewhere then all we require is a letter of introduction from
your current Club stating your handicap.
A copy of the Club's Constitution (PDF format) is available online along with
other Regulations and Policies.
As well as club play there is much more - in NSW, nationally and
internationally.
When you join you will receive a club handicap. As your standard of play changes so will your handicap.
General handicapping guidelines are here.
To improve plan for your practice.
There are many croquet resources (books, videos, mallets) and
this is a brief list.
As well, etiquette is an important part of the sport of croquet.
